At Copper Trading Company, we take pride in offering high-quality copper and brass products. Each order is carefully inspected and packed to ensure that you receive your items in perfect condition.
This Refund & Return Policy outlines the terms under which returns, replacements, or refunds are processed in compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
- Return Eligibility
- Returns are accepted only for damaged, defective, or incorrect items delivered by us.
- Returns are not accepted for brass or copper items that have been used, cut, polished, customized, or altered after delivery.
- The product must be returned in its original packaging, unused, and with all accompanying documents or accessories.

- Return Process
- Initiate Return:
Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. Provide your order ID, invoice, and clear photos of the product and packaging. - Return Approval:
Our quality team will review your request. If approved, we will arrange return shipping or provide return instructions. - Inspection:
Once the product is received, our team will inspect it to verify the condition and reason for return. - Approval or Rejection:
- If the product meets return criteria, a refund or replacement will be issued.
- If the item fails inspection (used, damaged after delivery, or missing components), the return will be rejected.
- Refund Timeline and Mode
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after product inspection.
- Refunds will be made to the original payment method (bank transfer, UPI, or card payment).
- In case of payment failure or delay, alternate refund arrangements will be made after verification.
- Exchange / Replacement
- Replacement is available only for defective or damaged products reported within 7 days of delivery.
- Replacement items will be shipped once the returned item is received and inspected.
- Exchange for different products, sizes, or grades is not applicable for copper or brass materials.
- Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Customized or cut-to-size copper/brass sheets, rods, or wires.
- Used or tampered items.
- Items damaged due to improper handling or storage after delivery.
- Bulk orders supplied under special commercial terms.
- Shipping Costs for Returns
- If the return is due to our error (wrong, defective, or damaged item), return shipping is free.
- If the return is initiated for any other reason, the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be canceled before dispatch only.
- Once dispatched, cancellations are not accepted.
- If payment was made and the order is canceled before shipping, a full refund will be issued within 5–7 business days.
